We went to Destin with Justin's Dad, stepmom, sister, brother-in-law & our niece for a long w/e over my birthday w/e on Aug. 14. It was Carter's first trip in the car & he was such a good boy! He napped most of the way down & back...we pretty much tried to feed him just before we left so we wouldn't have to stop to do that on the way. He loved the water...especially the pool & his fun starfish float...

Finally out on the beach & in the ocean! Tropical storm Claudette decided to randomly appear out of the Gulf the 2nd day we got there, so we didn't have many nice sunny days but just enough for us to still get out & enjoy it!His beach hat was a little big but it served its purpose.

He is too cute!! I love those cheeks! We are taking Lucas to the beach in October...I don't see us getting in the water at that time, but we are excited none the less! I am glad ya'll had such a good time!
